Was taking a picture of this wall, liked the color, when this guy walked into the frame, lighting up all in his stride. Little moment of infinite pleasure.

The colors were worth stopping to photograph, but the guy walking in really balanced out the photo, and made it one step better.

Francois, this is incredibly good in all its simplicity -- which is nearly always the secret. Here, so much came together just perfectly: the colors, the road sign, the man and most of all his pose, lighting a cigarette. It reminds me of some of David Deveson's work. Excellent work, Bert
