Hi peter that’s a great shot, really well composed. The picture looks a little underexposed. I had a look at the image levels and they were all in the lower (darker) end of the scale. By adjusting the levels and spreading the image across the whole range it brings out the punch that was there when you took the original picture. Also I sharpened it lightened the horses head a bit and removed the drain cover in the road that was a bit distracting. You could try adjusting the contrast setting on your canon to give your images a bit more punch. Hope you like it !

I would just like to say that my original is what the scene looked like, whereas onebeautifulmoment's modification is what the scene should have looked like!
