After a rather respectable 6am rise this morning, me and MrsS had decided to visit the Wirral and the Dee estuary to catch sunrise there. A low cloud bank to the South and East put paid to an early sunrise but there was some early pre-dawn colour and a nice bit of light a little later on ![]()
The wispy cloud about also diffused it somewhat to begin with and gave a lovely soft sheen to the light early on. If you look very carefully you can see a little feathered friend [Plover?] coming to pose for me on the prow of the boat ![]()
