Hi All - back to "normal" today!!!
Blown away with your response to yesterday's shot, so here's one from the same place but about 12 hours earlier.
Even though we had managed to give Roy the slip, we weren't expecting much in the way of light, then Mother Nature once again pulled out all the stops and gave us a brilliant light show!
Couldn't resist getting THE BEAST out, to smooth the water, which was a wee bit choppy, and here's the result of a 3min 6 sec exposure
Hope you like it - it's one of my favourites
Thanks for stopping by, seem to have a list as long as my arm of things to do, so will catch up once "couch potato" mode is allowed
3min 6sec @ f11 ISO 50 73mm
PS - if you can spare the time, LARGE might just be a bit bigger
What a blaze of light Fran, hope you enjoyed your little trip over the border
Yep, I likes it
Rather special this one Fran.
Thanks MrF, Chris, Stewart & Jeni
If I'm honest, I likes it too, Chris, glad you agree
Off to do the weekly shop now, was able to do it on Saturday!
What a superb image, Fran. All too often the big stopper doesn't deliver what I consider attractive images especially where moving clouds are involved. In this shot, however, the cloud movement in the light is like a spotlight beam and very atmospheric.
no words needed
Lovely "Big One" exposure Fran.
Lovely image Fran. The long exposure has left the lake looking frozen. Excellent work.

Another amazing shot Fran', keep it up Girl.
Right place right time for the RC....for both you and Paul
Nicely shot Fran. 3 min exposure, you must have patience!!

Superb waterscape Fran with amazing colours and light.
mmmm reminds me of black cherrys super image fran
Thank You Gents
Fair few more to come from here but will give it a rest for a day or two
Looking at the results of my play with the 10 stopper and then looking at this shows me I have a way to go in getting the exposures right.
This makes the most of late colours we had here and gives a hint of the morning we then saw here.
Thanks for a great weekend Fran.
. . Hi Fran, great to meet up with you and Paul at last - really like these slowwwwww exposures and need to get my head around the process and give it a try!
Will take a better review tonite
