Took what I thought was going to be a leisurely stroll out today to keep a bit fit whilst editing thousands of photos , followed an internet route on falling foss falls , arrived at car park and started the walk. Beautiful scenery autumn leaves flowing rivers WOW , however after an hour of walking up some pretty awkward muddy hills and paths I arrived at the falls to find the viewpoint was impossible . Had to slide down the side of a very steep hill using a tree as a stopper with my feet and diggin my tripod in the ground to stop me going over the edge but finally found a good position from the top. This shot ... then made the mistake of a ttempting to get to the bottom and found myself clinging to the branches of trees in the side of a very steep cliff before i knew it ! decided the only way was the hard way so just slid down and got completely covered in mud , then walked through a knee high river and clambered the rest of the way , the photos from the bottom werent worth it either
but the rest were
, hope you like !

The way to the bottom is to follow the path down to the wooden bridge, then hike up the bank / through the stream, although there may have been less water when I did it. There's also a car park just 5min from this viewpoint!
As for the photo, I like the autumnal colours and flowing water. It's got me thinking about going back there myself.
i know this place well and yes its a nightmare to get to that waterfall. S well done nice shot
