IN THE PINK

During the past year or so I have been acquiring a selection of old M42 thread film-camera lenses via Ebay.

They all require purpose made adaptors so they fit my SONY A55, here I used a SUPER TAKUMAR 1.8-55 lens; the type with the acid-yellow coating that is purported to be radio active.................I don't use it often so I should be OK

This lens creates a beautiful soft BOKEH as you can see.......... it is a pleasure to use.

Manual setting forced me to concentrate on focus and framing, the adaptors I get (also via Ebay) have focus-confirm chips fitted which make life a little easier:
