This is the same boy Hadie as yesterday, as you can see the floor is earth, one room with four beds for family of seven, the cooking was done outside on an open fire, there was a tap outside with running water, all the village bathed in the river or under the tap, electricity only in a few homes here, Hadies father was an armed guard in the local supermarket with wages of about $12.00 a week, that was the total income for the family.

Another moving image Trev.

Seeing images like this makes us appreciate as to how lucky we all are.

we just dont know how lucky we are, one cannot exist on love alone, we need food and nourishment - sad for these children but a fact of life.

We don't know we are born when we see images like this. We live a very priveliged life that we just take for granted, can you imagine what this child would do if he was spirited from his life to ours, he would be overwhelmed by it all.

Great image

I've been off a few days doing a Braille job, Trev, and am just catching up here. This photo made me squirm, as it should - that there are poor souls living in such poverty and we go on about our business and barely think of them. Thanks for posting this - we need more wake-up calls.
