The colour version is a great image in it's own right
but the mono brings out the texture in the sand and emphasises the sky.
The boats seem to stand out more also in the mono.

An intriguing image!!
The color of the boats, combined with the black and white of the rest makes this a very dramatic image.

A fascinating process-- I like them both, but v1 is very dramatic!

Excellent... there are so many elements that combine to make this such a great photo. The color of the boats contrasted with the overall grey of the scene; the bird flying low in the background; the sweeping clouds... this is an fantastic shot!

Really like these.. Prefer V1 which has more dramatic effect & the boats stand out..super composition of 3 boats to the right, & the bird adds to the composition. Very well executed imho
