Yesterday I uploaded an image of these groynes down at Sandsend (here; Incoming Tide )... and I wanted to share the same groynes, at the same time, but from the other side of the line looking in the other direction along the coast.. and to share the difference in the light and mood, created just by turning the camera round...

..ok - I shall stop waffling and go and make coffee Smile

Indeed, Tom... when I arrived at sunrise the tide was too far out to get the long exposures I wanted on these posts... all makes for different images each trip - and I shall be back Smile

The water movement is nice here but I have to say that I preferred yesterdays version.
They are both good of course but it's all quite personal as usual.

Thank you Lynne, Dougie and Peter. Smile

Dougie I am the same as you - I prefer yesterdays, as did my brother (a non photographer) which I found interesting as I often expect people to prefer sunshine Smile

You deserve a coffee at least for this effort, Jeanie.
Top class again.
Don't like to choose among your uploads as I'm inspired by all of them.
So I won't.

A very well observed, composed, exposed and captured coastal image with both interest and depth Jeanie.
