The last image from the Belfast Zoo expedition. This shot is one of those shots I have wanted to take for about 20 years. As soon as I saw a picture of the peafowl displaying its feathers in this way, I immediately added it to my "must take that" list. Why it took me so long to get this photo I'll never know, but I'm really pleased with it. OK admittedly, it's kind of been done to death over the years, but it's still a great feeling when you finally get the shot you've been after since REM released "Losing My Religion".

Thanks for looking.

All comments and votes, very welcome indeed.

There are more photos of Belfast Zoo in my portfolio if this subject interests you, inlcuding the cutest monkey I have ever seen and a zebra crossing a zebra crossing!

Andrew.

A really good photograph, sorry I can't expand further due to my current posture and discomfort.
