Taken this afternoon with Hoya R72, my first serious attempt at infrared photography, I have decided not to desaturate the image, as I quite like the false colour effect, whether or not it works I don't know, I leave that to you.
The subject is Bidston Windmill, which is on Bidston Hill on the Wirral.
As always any comments, constructive criticism is very welcome.
Thanks for take the time to look.

Thanks Conrad and Neil for looking in and the kind words, and also thanks to Dmitri & Snowman for clicking.
Also thanks to Conrad and Pete for the mods, they certainly very much add to the image and have given me ideas as to what direction to take in the future.

Lovely stuff. I love IR shots, and this one is great. Think I may be slightly more partial to the desaturated image, but keep coming back to the original one to check!
Nice one.
