My first ladybird of the year

Many thanks, too, to everyone for the amazing response to my attempts at bird photography, not something I will be venturing into with my little camera, but it was fun to have a go

Think I prefer V1 - so hard to capture without reflections.
I've never managed a close up to match yours!
The ladybird looks great contrasted by the green blade of grass.

Afternoon Carol
V1 for me. So simple but so very effective

Overnight snow and kept snowing until at least noon
Not that much at home, but plenty at the woods, where the ground is much higher
