This little fellow reminded me of a Beatrix Potter illustration. They are so fast, I've never managed to capture one before. A tad noisy pictures as the location is very shady and ISO had to be cranked to 1600 for focus.
Hope you like him/her.

Best to all,
Dave.

Lovely series featuring Ratty, the most endearing of rodents. The expression captured in V1 makes this one the winner for me.

Thanks so much for the kind comments, everyone. Yes, we are very fortunate to have such a variety of wildlife in the nearby area. Am keeping a Buddleia watered in the hopes that like last year there will be the occasional hummingbird hawkmoth and silver washed fritillary around soon. Nice if so.
Best to all, Dave.

A delightful set of images of this cheeky little chap, I think v4 is the best. They are extremely quick as I found out when I snapped one in the Forest of Dean a couple of weeks back, I only managed one decent shot which I uploaded on here.
