This cute little grasshopper was trying his best to put on a good pose, I think he succeeded very well
A beaut close-up. Prefer V2.
What stunning creatures they are Carol and perfectly captured. Love both of these.
Looks like he's clinging on for dear life, Carol . v2 as well for me, the exposure looks better.
Morning Carol, it's v2 for me as we'll, I like the side on aspect more. As always terrific detail, you've captured those eyes extremely well.
I think he did aswell and isn't he delicate.
A very handsome hopper. Love his paintwork!
2 stunners Carol
Stunning detail Carol
Although I am not a great lover of large borders No. 2 gets the vote. Excellent macro work!
V2 for me for its excellent diagonal composition (and I love wide borders too).
Love the detail captured in both Carol, excellent macro work,
he really is adorable
you seem to be able to get the best side of these critters
fantastic detail carol brilliant tones and colour v1 my favourite today a stunner nice one
Excellent macros (As always)
Great pose and great camouflage.......well seen and photographed..........
Yip, couldn't ask for a better pose, Carol, and two very fine detailed shots of Mr. Cricket: love those striped eyes.....they remind me of striped boilings called Everton Mints we bought as kids.
The pose is excellent - great detail Carol; I do like the pose better in v1 but I think the detail is slightly (very slightly) better in v2. A great capture. Love Ronnie's idea of his eyes being like Everton Mints!
I try to resist anthropomorphic reactions, and fail. The pose of that right elbow is so elegant, like someone leaning against the back of a chair.
"The anser to your question is without question".
Two superb image of the highest order Carol. Each beautifully capture, stuffed with immense detail, and superb natural colour in abundance.
Two excellent captures Carol, have to go for V1 for composition more room to move into.
Two wonderful and lovely capture,Carol, very well done,
Two captures par excellence yet again Carol!
Cute little critter Carol - like V1 presentation.
Wonderful detail, superb pose and well spotted!
Both images have their merits and I love the colour harmony.
Ronnie is spot on regarding the eyes - amazing eyes they are too.
V1 an excellent caprure Carol one of your finest for sure
I do like V1..

Looks a good pose to me! Two cracking captures, Carol, think the framing in V2 works best for me
Thank you so much for the user award, very much appreciated. The detail in your images is excellent today. Sylvia
Fantastic in all respect, clean ,crisp & cute composition.
Cracking close up camera work Carol, the clarity and detail are sublime and the background looks good too
Love the detail - right down to its wispy hairs - and also those cute humbug eyes.
Brilliant captures Carol..Lin
Excellent poses I should say Carol. Moira
A real cracker Carol. Well Done! Lou
These are great Carol, if a little scary! I'm torn between the variants: I like the composition of #1 but also the greater crispness in #2. Hmmm... cannot decide...
Oh yes it is....................... Great pose!
I like them both Carol, great images
Excellent shot Carol. Pin sharp detail.
Super Carol - love the serrated edges on the underside of legs.
