This is the Isle of May from Anstruther. I had a fantastic day on this wee island which is a Scottish Natural Heritage site. Its uninhabited except for the researchers so the wildlife gets a good chance tae flourish. Fantastic daySmileSmile

Great detail and tones in the rocks and sky. I also liked the composition of the three layers: foreground, sea and sky.
I think there is quite a bit of archaeology on the island, with remains of a monastery that was sacked by the Vikings.

Good composition, I like the different layers.Smile

The horizon is fine, it's only 0.64 degrees off level, that's pretty good for a Scottish horizon.Wink I've had a lot worse.

If you look closely at Mark's image from yesterday, you'll see that it isn't actually wonky at all. It's the slight slope on the spit of land that makes it seem wonky.
If you're able to move the image up towards the top edge of your screen, and use that as a level, you'll see what I mean.
Yours, on the other hand, is wonky.

........but in a nice way Tongue

It's a scientific fact that the horizon is only level at the equator. As you get closer to the poles the horizon slopes more and more until at the poles it is vertical.WinkWink
