I'm, very sorry for the purists that stay indoors when it rains.
I've had a lovely day in the rain.
The Mum is feeding the babies,
The kingfishers are about to fledge, and I need to know what's going on,
My picture may not be good enough for an award when it's raining but I don't care.

One of your very best, a belter. No rain here, and not likely to see any for the next 3-4 months now Sad Carol

Just to explain my anger. I was told if I cloned out the rain on my one before last I would stand a chance of an EC award.
I find this unacceptable.

A cracking shot Alan, and good for you being out in the rain. Sometimes its the best time to be out and nothing can beat it as you have proved here.
My answer always is 'skin is waterproof' keep em coming, and keep documenting them in all weathers

A sensational image Alan, the rain sometimes brings some great opportunities for wildlife photography. I've taken some of my best waterbird shots at Slimbridge when its been wet
