Taken just after yesterday's upload at the Dark Hedges on the NI Meet. After playing with light painting on the whole avenue of trees, Mark showed Martin, Pete and I how to use light pollution to our advantage. I left uploading this for a while until people had forgotten about Mark's so no-one would notice mine was compositionally cra*p in comparison lol

Ah, tactical posting, we've alll done it. Nice one, although I think you need to darken down the bottom right, which I'm assuming is where the car was parked. Wink

Nothing to be ashamed of it's very nice indeed. Only thing is the purple cast on the lower right.

Wow, thanks everyone! I think the purple cast was Pete flashing behind me (and before you ask, no, not like that lol, he was taking pics the other way) I'll clone it out!

very good shot

per chance was the moon up to the upper left somewhere I think that might be responsible for the purple casting.

no time to mouse over so have not seen number two, for some reason it seems to take ages for the image to come through so I just give up.
I must say the lighting on this is really effective. Your pics are not crap so don`t belittle yourself.
