I decided to have a go at bird photography and unfortunately, I just can't get up close and personal because well... they RUN AWAY from me - I feel like a big stalker so I settled on this photo NOT because of the bird - I actually like the TREE hehe!
I used a slower shutter speed than I should have but I feel it gives the effect of moment which I quite like. I like the colours of the trees and the Bird just happens to match right in. What say you EPZ people - do you like my trees?

Hoping everyone is having a fun day - laugh lots!

As always so very much appreciate the wonderful comments and votes on all my photos - Thank You!!!

I had an attempt at photographing a bird recently, but with a point and shoot camera, what a laugh Grin. I love your tree, Ava, beautiful white bark, is it a eucalyptus? I mut say the bird isn't bad, either Wink Carol

Bird Photography for me is one of the most frustrating of all, if you are not willing to invest in a hide and a great big all singing all dancing lens then your patience will be tested to the limit as I have found out only to often. However I do feel rather gratified when I do capture a bird it its natural habitat. I think it the primeval hunting instinct...

A great image, crammed with wonderful detail and natural colour.

Regards Nathan

Mad about trees but like your bird what ever he is! more of an evil eye than that crow on the wire lol. a good all rounder Ava, not much good at birds myself, perhaps stuffed ones would be better ha ha ha, regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin
