When I uploaded the colour version on Monday, Albert (fentiger) suggested contrasty b&w with selective colour for the ivy. Thanks Albert, it works!

The subtle colour works so well with the wonderful arcing stone diagonal.

Thanks everyone, we are back from the weekly shopping ordeal...
I found it much easier to get the contrasty look here, without loss of detail, than in the colour file, - for all that there was very little actual colour in the original!
