First attempt and Low Key any advice or comment would be greatly appreciated
I rather like this.
I've got quite a few similar shots; SPs and portraits, all of which have ended up getting the B/W or my preferred duo-tone treatment. No doubt that's already crossed your mind!
As for this one, I think there's a slight yellow cast to it, easily removed with software and I might be inclined to lighten just the eye very slightly.
Had you considered a square crop? It would place the line of demarcation pretty much down the centre and would remove the shoulder and (unnecessary?) detail at the bottom.
Just my thoughts; hope it helps.

Thanks bren, I think you could be right about the yellow cast, I will do some work on it, also will try a crop too as you have suggested rt hanks again, its funny but when you get good critique like yours you see the opportunity to make it better immediately, just wish I saw it before. Thanks again
Glad to help Martin.
If it's worthwhile critique you're looking for, the place to go is the 'critique gallery.'
I imagine that this shot would attract a fair amount of honest opinion in there.
Am gonna upload to the critique galler now thanks
