Finally it's the weekend! hurray!
And what is the first thing I do? get up at 4 am!!!
I'm not a masochist just a photographer Wink
We had our first "field class" with my new photography course to Jaffa harbor and old city, our goal was to practice different light exposures as the daylight shifts (from the magical hours of the sunrise and up until the light becomes contrasting). Stupid me I didn't brought a tripod (let's put aside the fact I don't have one) and so most of my early shots with 15 secs exposure were pretty bad... but daylight has broken and the sun was on my side brightening the city and helping me to get hand handled images later on Wink
I've really enjoyed today and this is my favourite image from the bunch.

Hope you like it too!
No editing has been done - it is handed to you hot from the oven, straight from the camera.
Large is not bad...

Have a great weekend all -
and now I rest Smile

Composition and wonderfully caught lighting make this one really stand out Ayelet - well done (but 4.00am? . . . crickey that's only a couple of hours after I normally go to bed and so is a time that only exists in my dreams lol)

ayelet, a tripod is a good investment, use mine all the time, although its a pain in the butt to drag around.
love the light catching the cross, and the diagonal comp, you deserve an extra vote for managing it hand held.lesley

A brilliant capture Ayelet, it is so simple and yet so very effective. Well done capturing it hand held, as Lesley says a tripod really is so useful and you must get one.
