Taken at Oulton Park on the first day of practice on Saturday 4 May 2013. It was still a little dull after a wet start to the day and is what I was after when I went to the meeting. James Ellison rides Yamaha for the Milwaulke Team.

Unfortunately a few of the best spots for photos have been overtaken (sic) by events as the rearrangement of a safety barrier (who can argue with that) and the building of a new bridge near Lodge Corner (again a good feature) have shifted the fence line back in those areas. Still good opportunities and it remains one of the best circuits for spectators - and photographers - I think, as can be seen by uploads from Brownstonechip and MikeMar.

Thanks to all for comments and votes. Phil, Mike, it was good to see you - hope you both have dried out! My camera seems to have survived. One thing the rain did give us was the chance to chat for a bit - now I come to think of it there was probably a good photo to be had all the photographers grouped under that large tree! All the best for coming events. Chris
