can see the advantage of Rangers over speedlites here... you'd need about 5 580EX's to get anywhere close to this

really picks out the reds and everything beautifully Wink

Using the PW power ST4 helps a lot here also - got f5 and 1/640 with a canon 5D II - funny things happen when you try and use a lightmeter though - just have to chimp the screen a lot as the shutter is open as the light tails away.

Yeah - I've tried the ETTL pocket wizards and being able to shoot at 1/4000th is an amazing benefit Smile Even with a couple of little strobes we could light a car and get a moody-as-hell background.

Where you based - seems pretty local to me, I'm in Leeds (morley)

This is really stunning and looks like its superimposed from the studio as its so well lit. I would love to get to this level with flash photography.
