A wonderful expression captured on this young fellow. I think I may have liked to see the whole book and his hands. After looking at his thoughtful face I wanted to see what had put that look on his face. Still excellent and is very thought provoking. Guess that's why I feel I'd like more...........Sandy
Welcome back again, Simon, and with new work too, I see (?).
Can't wait for the rest.
Images from Burma, looking at this I think were in for another feast of your stunning travel images Si.
Hope Burma was everything plus what you expected, a country I hope to vist next year.
Wonderful mood and tones Si, well worked
Si - great to see your work!
So expressive this one - excellent lighting and tones, superb portrait! I'm looking forward to seeing more too
A wonderful image - but he looks so sad. Fabulous work - I'm looking forward to more too!
Welcome back Si, and with a great image too. A smashing capture, and great mono.
An excellent mono Si.
Great to see you back Simon, and with another first class image. The book is important, but it's the thought it has created in his mind that really makes the difference.
Great portrait Simon,beautifully toned.
I have studied this for quite some time, Si, but am unable to interpret this young man's expression. It is so neutral that it can be interpreted so many ways.
Powerful expression, love this image!
First class - Jonathan

Just returned from Burma/Myanmar, and you will see alot more images of this young novice monk in different settings in Bagan, hope you will enjoy.
A wonderfully crisp image, perfectly suited to B&W, and whether this is a posed shot or a candid, you've definitely captured something of his essence.
