Taken on a club outing to Inverkip - a little leaf with some evening light.
I'll upload the bigger picture and variants as I wasn't sure which I liked best.
Thank you for avice, votes and comments re my snail images - not everybody's cup of tea
but I found something pretty in the scenes!

Hi! I like V3 (I couldn't find the leaf on V2...) because of the contrast between the two sides of the leaf, and the beautiful light on the rock to the right. I like simple images, because there is so much visual aggression everywhere. I think you took a picture of some yellow flowers that I adored!

Good bit of analysis from 'Potra', Kate, and for the teasons stated I too go along with V 3 as my favourite.
Looking for the sun/light picking out a small detail in an otherwise dark surround makes for a striking image as you have shown here.
Ronnie.

Thanks for including v2 to show us where you found the leaf-- a good study of light and dark!

Interesting set, Kate love the contrast between the soft foliage and the hard texture of the rock.

The colour is a bit warmer on v3 but v1 has the strength of composition and greater contrast with the background.

On V3 though I would've probably cropped a little off the bottom so the leaf is a third into the picture, improving the compWink

v3 for me it is the best composition. the texture and the colour contrast are a treat.
1/15 seems to me a bit over the top.. even if your hands are so steady.. mine aren't .. the leaves usually aren't , well round here they certainly aren't.
But I know more than iso 100 is illegal where you are so I guess I wouldn't survive a day Smile
Seriously, can't imagine why?

Did you get my mail btw? Re ISO... guess it is a good example
