Last Friday at the camera club we had a practical evening using still life subjects and light boxes.
This image was set up using a light box, some bubble wrap and drawing tools, compass and rulers etc.
To get the Toffee colour effect I used a Polariser in front of the lens.
Bit of fun for today.
Have a good day and thank you for lookin in.
Please view large if you have time.

Camera:Nikon D80. Check out Nikon Nation!
Lens:Sigma 18/50 and Polariser.
Recording media:JPEG (digital)

Very clever. I've seen this done before with plastic drawing tools, but what makes the difference here is the bubblewrap - that's a stroke of genius!

Structural designers build perspex models of building frames and them distort them whilst viewing through a polarised lens. It enables them to see stress patterns.

Interesting shot Tom

Hello everyone. Thanks for the comments and clix on my recent images.
This image will be my last for a while. Our computer at home is temporarily out of action due to a major water leak in the upstairs bathroom which seeped thru to the computer room below and soaked everything.
Also I am on hols from next Monday so I will be off the site up to the 16th July.Going to Venezuela for our summer hols/should be good.
So keep taking the tablets and the photographs and will catch up when I get back.
So long.
Tom.
