Morning all. Outside the wards in the general hospital that I work in twice a week, there are small courtyards. Gulls and the odd oystercatcher are nesting in them. Last Friday, 2 oystercatchers and a chick were all but dancing under the window, but I had no camera Sad. So on Tuesday I took my camera, the adult was lying in the sun. However the chick would not come over to our side of the yard. V2 is a shot that I got of the chick, but was at the other end, so not too good. Put it up to show the great camoflague the chicks have. Thanks for C&Cs on yesterday's upload.

A cracking shot Moira and even V2 has the cutie appeal! Well done! We have a pair of mallards that come to our corner of the Business Park - they expect food & water most days! Lou

Nearly missed the chick - hiding in the background. Very different view of the oystercatcher and a rather nice close up. They always nseem to be miles away when I try to capture them. Always have your camera handy.WinkWink
