Hi guys sorry I have only had chance to click and vote on some over the past week or so - the rewire and other stuff is progressing slowly and I have not had much chance to upload any images - This was taken in my garden with my 18 - 55 mm lens with a 10x close up lens on the end during a break for a cup of tea. Not brilliant but I was trying out the close up lens to see how it performed. Any pointers or advice will be gratefully received. Hope you are all enjoying this good spell of weather (uk inhabitants) Hopefully will be able to resume some sort of normality in a week or so. Smile

A most beautiful floral image Hilary. One which is crisp and fresh and so very pleasing the green and white making for the perfect contrast. Your effective use of selective focus and your chosen aperture of f/5.6 at a focal length of 55mm has allowed yo you to capture the main bloom in perfect focus whilst still keeping the soft dreamy detail in the blooms in yonder. My only point would be to make a tighter crop 'Letter Box' removing some of the unwanted detail in the bottom of the frame and primarily at the top.

Regards Nathan

Hello Hilary, like this image very much. Hard to capture daisies well and this is tops. Choice of depth of field is spot on. I enjoy seeing your images on here, Smile Jacqui
