Ok, thought i would try something different but still not too difficuilt to photograph as everything is in my control.

Used a macro setting on my camera to try and get as much detail of the wooden tip of the pencil.

Comments, tips would be appreciated!

Nice simple capture works well, if it was me i would crop out the fingers but thats just me

Good idea and I would leave the fingers in although it's a pity they are not sharp. Perhaps a red border all round to give the impression that this has been drawn by the pencil.
