I like when I take a portrait I can look at it and wonder what and how she was feeling, not just a story to be told.

Looks good to me. Nicely composed and exposed. The model looks relaxed. Someone is going to say they think it needs more space in front of the face, this is a photographer's thing. Study paintings and you will see otherwise.
If you are going to earn your living by taking pics, does the model and whose paying like it. That is the measure of your success.
A minor point I would make is why is she wearing a coat in what looks like an in door shot?
Regards
Ian
Lovely mono conversion Cass. As Pete mentions, a very nice range of tones, what you want in a mono. The composition is a very nice "thirds", - well done all round. Theres a dust bunny top left you can clone out.
You may get some flack for the logo, - but its fine for me. I think this would do very well in the general galleries.

Willie
Like everyone else have stated it's a nice portrait well lit with lovely detail... my first impression was that the top of her head has been cropped and after looking at it longer I still feel that... so for me it would be less of the coat and more of the hair.... just my thoughts![]()

Its a damn fine portrait!
Really good how the bottom of her pupil doesn't quite meet the eyelash line. Clever study.
Anyway,
The buckles compete for attention with her eyes, her earning needs to go, as does that black thing on her coat. The scarf is just perfect balancing the catch lights.
Have a think about how props/clothes and distracting elements work together ..
Slapped a mod, and im off to watch the telly

It's a very fine portrait, with a well thought pose and expression, and the light is very suitable and effective. I do find those coat fasteners a distraction though.
