One from the archives...
Photographed in April this year way up North inside the Arctic Circle in Norway. My first serious use of the 30D at the time and wasn't quite used to the exposure of this camera (It seems to under expose compared to my old 10D) so have just been 'fixing' some of the shots from the trip.
It was about -7C at the time, quite windy which helped in some way as it slowed the eagles down, however it also meant the boat we were in was drifting quite quickly away from the fish (2-3lb cod and coalfish) that we were catching and throwing into the sea as bait. Great for in-flight shots but not so great for fishing shots as the eagles were some way away for this and always with their tails to us. Next time I will try it from land!
