A portrait of a very dear friend.

Thanks for looking,

Anne

A very special thanks to Matt (Herge88) for his UA on my image Conveyance -it's truly appreciated.

Thank you also to Rende for his UA on Conveyance - the award just came in after I uploaded this image. Thanks so much.

Apologies for many clicks - not something I normally do, but I am a little under the weather right now Sad

A dear friend who knows you and is humouring you, but is still a bit bemused by the situation she finds you in - that hand is part defence mechanism, it's a this far but no further sign. The lens has still got through.
I feel I know her now...

A beautiful portrait, however she does look rather uncomfortable with the situation that she finds her self in...

A lovely portrait -- with excellent processing, Anne. It's funny how a static image can be open to interpretation. Moira and Nathan seemed to think she was putting a bit of distance between the two of you.
I took her raised hand to be part of her pensive posture. She seems to be deep in thought.

I do like honest portraits that are not trying to hide anything. I have done some of Bodil, and she doesn't like the "warts and all" approach, but as I tell her - it is the real you. You have taken the same approach here, Anne, and it shows a real person as you and the world see her.
