One of an experimental series of portraits using the wide angle Ricoh GR. We aren't supposed to use wide angle lenses for portraits, so I thought I might. This has also been tonemapped in Photomatix, using just the single exposure. These are also going to be environmental portraits, so there will be various items in the backgrounds, but the f/2.8 aperture will hopefully diffuse them enough so they won't detract from the close and direct portraits.

The eyes are dark........and the shining forehead and the shine under the subjects right eye is distracting..........the forehead also looks like it has been pushed in.........he has a distinct dent...........don't be offended, just trying to help..........GrinGrinGrin
