Due to a couple of issues over the last couple of days, not been on the site since my last upload on Monday, one of which was another appointment with my doctor yesterday re my epileptic attack whilst away. Had an ECG done whilst there, which showed my ticker was OK, and the brain scans I had in Stuttgart had also showed as OK. However, I do have to continue taking the Levetiracetam tablets I was put on, and they do make you feel a bit sleepy, but at least they should help prevent any further attacks.
Anyway, Käthe Wohlfahrt is a German company that sells Christmas decorations and articles, and was founded in 1964 in Herrenberg near Stuttgart by the husband and wife couple, Wilhelm and Käthe Wohlfahrt. It was taken over by their son, Harald, and the firm moved from Herrenberg to their main shop here on Herrngasse in Rothenburg ob der Tauber in 1977. It features a Christmas Museum and a Christmas exhibition. The shop is open all year long and claims to have the world's largest selection of more than 30,000 traditional German Christmas decorations. This Asquith vintage car, promoting it, is parked in front of the museum, and though I didn't go inside the museum, grabbed a couple of shots of the car - if you look closely in V2, you can see my reflection!

Single Raw image processed in Adobe Camera Raw 7, tweaked in Photomatix Pro 4 and Photoshop Elements 11.

Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

A very colourful image and accompanied by an interesting and informative narrative, Trev: carefully chosen viewpoint to include the company name.
And I do like the distorted perspective in V 2.
Glad to hear you are keeping OK and I hope that continues to be so for you.
Regards,
Ronnie.

Beautifully colourful image, and love your treatment of it as always. I do seem to see a nice reflection in that lovely shiny car in V2 Grin.
Very sorry to hear you have been unwell on holiday, hope things are improving now.

Two terrific images with a great self portrait in V2.

Nice to have it confirmed that you have both a brain and a heart Trev. Not all of us can be sure that we have functioning versions of either one!

I usually share a brain cell with Nick, he has it today as I have just referred to the wheelbarrow as the umbrella, goodness knows where that came from! Glad to hear that tests are reassuring.
Two great images!

A pitty you haven't been inside the shop. I visited there in August, when outside it was boiling hot and all of a sudden it was Christmas! Fantastic arrangements of all sorts, a cool, cool air and a fresh breeze. Really something unforgettable.
A great picture of the car, all beautiful and shiny.
