A mush shot with a difference. These can be done without needing to lie flat on the ground to get them, and yes I did have my angle finder with me, so could have done them the other way.
Anyway, just a slightly different take of "bird on a stick" or in this case fence post.
great shot superb d.o.f.
Beautiful capture - well done !
Like your composition and the colours and details - well captured.
Better than yesterdays by far,excellent.
Very very nice shot.
nice one Cheryl
Don't know what a mush shot is, but I like this very much. Great DOF. Bob
beautiful just amazing
Love this image.
Mush just refers to the foreground blur Bob, just a bit of a joke reference to it being out of focus.
Not so sure when some mush is over the bird though Cheryl or is mush poetic licence. The green over the tail ruins a good bird IMHO
Fair point Richard, I think we took some after some pruning as well, so I'll take a look and see if there is a clean one. It's not always easy when there is this much variety, both in height and distance of the foliage to get an exact line. At least the tail is showing on this one, on others he hid it behind a metal hinge holding the fence together.
What a lovely image, I really like it. I see some tech stuff has been noted, but my first impression was ooh this is good. Ann
Yesterday's was good...this is brilliant. They don't get much better than this
Awesome shot nice one,John
Inspite of the vegitation over the tail I quite like the over the shoulder pose and the fanning of the tail - Ina
