This shot is from my recent visit to the lakes a few weeks ago. I did fantastic kids free long walk that ended up in Buttermer... I made plenty of shots on that evening, (even experimented with a tilt shift from work), but 99% of the shots where sadly either, way too clichéd or, frustratingly the clouds weren’t in the correct place, when there was good light. Anyway whilst viewing the shots of this evening it struck me just how much of a gamble landscape photography can be. It emphasised just how important it is to be ready when the perfect conditions do eventually turn up. Luck certainly favours the persistent, oh and the quick! (As for those that have been out with me in a non workshop capacity, I’m sure will testify).
Speaking of persistent, if you fancy spending a day with me on a workshop, then a list of new workshops dates are up on www.landscapeinspired.com I’d be thrilled to show you ways to improve your luck, (amongst other things of course). So why not pop over to the site and reserve a place on a day workshop. I also offer gift cards for Christmas presents and this year an in house (well university actually) Photoshop workshop.
Enough of that, I look forward to meeting you...warmest regards, Jason

Nice advert. But is that your only reason for posting on epz!???
Jeb and vince cheers my friends, Dennis, you will find that I post other stuff here too. Ho yes, what’s wrong with promoting my workshops here anyway, why do you take offence?
Jason. I'm not offended and am familiar with your other posts and actually enjoy viewing your images, I just don't think such blatent advertising is in the spirit of the site. Just post great images and if people like them they will look at your website and discover your workshops for themselves ![]()
