The village is located at the top of a hill on the other side of the large valley behind the hill on the foreground.

To appreciate this photograph a look of more than the standard ten seconds is highly recommended: the two or three details in warmer colours - reds and ochre - are very subtle but enliven the prospect no end.
A glorious landscape, cold but not uninviting.....
