Hi Chris.

The first thing that strikes me is the flower head in the foreground which, I think, is too large. As a bit of foreground interest, I reckon something similar and similarly blurred but smaller would have worked better.
The rest of the image is nicely sharp, but it appears a little flat.
I've added a mod. in which I used curves to select a black and a mid grey threshold (for the mid tones and requiring a bit of guesswork) but I left the whites alone.
It's just livened it up a little.
Hope this helps.

Bren.

Yep, as Bren, it's a little flat and the mod addresses that. The out of focus flower is just in the way, unfortunately. It doesn't work as foreground interest. Smaller, and in focus would be better, though the bridge should be subject enough by itself.
Nice angle to shoot from, and I'd like to see this in low directional light, if the sun strikes it at the right angle, as it will bring out all that lovely texture.

Nick

The flowers are the problem here. They are very intrusive and needed to be much sharper at the expensive of the bridge if necessary. Or not there at all.
