I hadn't actually noticed the bird in flight at the time, as I was crawling along the beach through the penguin poo trying to keep a low profile and not disturb them.
That must be the best view from any office window in the WHOLE WORLD..............gis a job..........![]()

Well done, but I know what you mean about the poo. My waterproofs still smell almost 20 years after I did the same on St Andrews Bay. But it was worth it. S Georgia is one of my most favourite places. Such a shame it is so difficult to get to now I am getting on, but then its isolation is what makes it so wonderful. Ken
Such an endearing shot and the penquin which is pointing its beak towards the bird which is flying away is fantastic.
