Getting ready for the "Kingfisher Season" once again. I got astonished when I went down the river on Monday and there was 4 Kingfishers flying after eachother. The Noise was truly unbelievable.

This one was from last year.

Like the detail and colours in this one. For me the light blue feather look slight over sharpened compared to some of the others.

I don't know how, as I've sharpened it as a picture, I don't even know how to pick out certain parts to sharpen individually !

I didn't think you could get this close to a king fisher with a 70-200mm lens. Excellent detail in the feather and a lovely pose.
