One from my archives - a young Kingfisher at my local Reserve. During the summer of 2010, Kingfishers were seen on a daily basis but following two consecutive severe winters, when the Reserve's large Mere was frozen solid for many days, the birds moved away. Unfortunately, the have not returned; however, I remain hopeful that they will.
Thank you for your interest in my previous upload, "Turtle Dave."
