After a serious bit of preening this kingfisher plucked out a feather....hope it didn't hurt Wink Many thanks for the C&Cs on the Tour of Britain image, much appreciated

First view I thought he had taken a feather from another kingfisher in aggression.
as I have photographed in the past. Found your' comment interesting.
Good photo not easy in bright sunshine.
