Just got back from a great day at Oulton Park and dumped my first CF card to my PC and thought I'd share one with you. This is Kiyo on his way to an excellent first race win, good news for me too as I've got him in my fantasy team Grin

Thanks for taking a look, I know its late but couldn't resist an upload. More to follow throughout the week no doubt.

Darren.

Looks a good pan and well filled frame.
But it also looks over contrasty to me and the blacks are well black, I know the lighting was harsh, I did saturda and sunday at Oulton and have suffered from the same thing.
Try adding fill light and a touch of blacks in raw conversion, and even reduce the contrast a touch to put the detail back in, dont want to tell you how to suck eggs but Ide rather say than not.
Jealous that you got to see race day live too, watched it on tv :O(

Thanks for the comments Steve and I agree about the contrast, lighting was harsh but this is probably down to my rushed processing too. I've just processed another which is hopefully better, will be uploading it tomorrow sometime. It was a great day today with good racing, hard trying to watch the race and take pictures too though.

Thanks again for the comments, I'd rather hear them than not. Cheers.

Great capture, Darren, super sharp, yet nicely blurred in the background to give a sense of movement Smile Maybe, as said above, a little contrasty, but still excellent Wink
