Lady Cooks Garden

The 18th Century house boasts some 5 acres of gardens and is modelled on those of Monserrate in Portugal, once part of the late Sir Francis Cook’s family estate. The Avenue with its magnificent collection of magnolias leads to the lawned forecourt with a granite cider crusher fountain and sundial. Varied walkways wind alongside lawns and herbaceous borders to the lower garden with its lily ponds and woodland areas.
