Serene is the word and the subtle nuances of blue throughout make it quite mesmerising.

Tranquil is perhaps the best word to sum this up Ian. I can imagine this being so quiet when you shot it with, maybe, just the birdsong for company.

wonderful image, Ian. I am amazed that you're not using a prime lens on this shot!
The 24-105mm is my most used lens, yet I would not normally attempted this sort of shot with it! What's your opinion of it?

Steven,

Many thanks for your kind comment.

I have never had any issues with the 24-105mm, which I feel is a versatile lens that's very suitable for my primary landscape purposes. I don't think it compares for sharpness with my 16-35mm, but all the same I never leave home without it!

Thanks, again.

Ian

Ian, what a fantastic presentation you have given us. The stillness is brought through with an outstanding tone. The little boat just pops right out the image. Top work......have to agree about the lens, some say its heavy and hard to work with but I have loved using it.

Paul.
