This is the lake at Kingston Maurwaurd.

Frustratingly, around the whole lake, there isn;t anything for foreground interest, it is either cropped grass, or reeds so long., you can;t actually see the lake .

However, I feel I;ve processed this as well as it can be done & am pleased with the result.

Gareth Smile

I would also be pleased with the result, great tonal range, lovely location, very peaceful and so very well suited to this magical monochrome makeover.

Regards Nathan

Very attractively composed, the line of reeds makes a strong base line.

Cracking image Gareth, works well in black and white, you have some really nice tones in there, and a very good piece of processing with no burnt out highlights.Good work.
Well done.

Hi Jeremy,
I put the colour version up agterwards as per Carols request........... I'm pleased with the mono conversion, not in a photographic way, but finally think I;ve cracked the mono conversions with this one.

Your processing is spot on, Gareth Smile Works a treat in V1.

By the way, a few chillies are off and running in the post headed your way Grin

I hope they get to you in good condition. Let me know if any of them are slightly dried out/soft when they get to you, ya?
