This is the lake at Kingston Maurwaurd.
Frustratingly, around the whole lake, there isn;t anything for foreground interest, it is either cropped grass, or reeds so long., you can;t actually see the lake .
However, I feel I;ve processed this as well as it can be done & am pleased with the result.

Superb image Gareth, great composition and it really works well as a mono.

I put the colour version up agterwards as per Carols request........... I'm pleased with the mono conversion, not in a photographic way, but finally think I;ve cracked the mono conversions with this one.

the toning could not have been done any better.. Looks like you have found all the suble tweaks now

Your processing is spot on, Gareth Works a treat in V1.
By the way, a few chillies are off and running in the post headed your way 
I hope they get to you in good condition. Let me know if any of them are slightly dried out/soft when they get to you, ya?
