Hi Billy,
It looks a nice loaction that will offer many different opportunities at different times of the year, ask Natalie not to start making jigsaw's, this would be to hard for my eye's
.
I think it may be worth trying a small crop on the right so the image start's at the tip of the first Gunnera leaf although this could of course place the building in the wrong position, but certainly worth a go you've got nothing to loose. I would also have a play with your levels and lighten the image a touch, paying more attention to the background as to me that area appears a little on the dark side.
All in all though Billy tell Natalie it's a nice scene and good shot.
Take care
Martin

Hi Natalie, a beautiful image with lots of shapes and textures in the trees and bushes. I hadn't seen Martin's entry above before I tried a modification for you but I do agree it's a little on the dark side (about half a stop extra exposure) but easily adjusted by increasing the brightness and contrast in any processing program. I have cropped the image slightly to remove the leaf in the bottom left corner and left the two trees as frames on either side. I also levelled the image just a little using the gutter line of the building as the horizontal.
Only small changes, but see what you think.
Dave

Looking at the levels, this is quite underexposed. The histogram doesn't reach the RHS.
I've adjusted the W/B and increased the exposure using Lightroom.
I never use brightness or contrast controls; it can be done much more accurately using curves, which is what I've done here, using CS6.
I'm not sure that you'd gain anything by altering the composition.
Hope this helps.
Bren.
With hindsight, my mod, seems to have suffered very slightly from Epz. upload syndrome. It's just a touch lighter on here than it is on my machine.
