Today had a lovely autumn afternoon, so armed with my cheapo £5, 5mpix camera I went for a stroll around Llandrindod Wells Lake.
I took these pictures and hoped that they would turn out OK, as the camera does not have a viewfinder, (which I consider to be a necessity, and normally I only use the monitor for a composition check), and because with this camera it is very difficult, or mostly impossible, to see the the picture in normal to bright sunlight.
The other difficulty is that the camera can only date the exif for March 2009, so I have to alter the date, for each picture, manually with the pc.
So having explained my 'problem', I hope that you like the views.
Brian

Yes, I do like the views, all of them, and this set does go to show that it is the photographer that makes the picture, not the equipment.
That said, I would not for a moment be without my 7D![]()
I like these very much, Brian. V4 is enough to make me envious!
I wouldn't bother altering the exif - just keep us all guessing!
Regards
Bill
I quite enjoy adding my own slant on Exif data occasionally, and waiting to see if anyone notices...
Do we need to spend hundreds/thousands of pounds I wonder? These are beautiful, cold and crisp. With the added virtue that you wouldn't worry about the viability of an insurance claim when you drop the camera in the lake...

That camera certainly picks up colour well! Beautiful images of one of my favourite places!
Love, Carol xx
Looks to me like you got a great bargain on purchasing that camera Brian, these have all turned out excellent. Though, as Andrew says, it's more to do with the photographer than his equipment, as these show so well!
Rgds., Jim
PS. Many, many thanks for your pm back in October (which I've only seen now as I was deliberately avoiding visiting the site, knowing I'd be tempted to restart posting, and I wasn't ready!) Hope you had a good summer and autumn, and that the health continues good! Also so sorry that I once again missed your anniversary on 15 September, promise not to do so for your 62nd. ![]()
