Great liquid lead in to the focal point which gives loads of depth. It's a really well constructed rural image (though I bet the house is cold and damp Wink ). Being constructive it looks as though there is some halo-ing around the top of the tree on the right. I get this when I try to lighted foliage that's crossing into my ND grad and looks too dark; I find it difficult to avoid and sometimes just have to settle for a darker treetop. Oooh, I feel very cheeky trying to give a critique to one of my best and most tallented teachers! Grin x

Beautiful comp and scene. The Mrs sees this and thinks 'remote, isolated, lonely and prone to flooding' I think, babbling brook, birdsong, the rustle of leaves in the breeze and a homely refuge when the elements are angered. Must be true that opposites attract :0)

Beautiful composition Jeanie - as others have said - really good lead in to the cottage. Don't think its a place I've been to either.
