A charming Spring set of lambs.. Like the natural pose of V4 today![]()
I can see from v5 that this farmer still puts bands on their tails when they are born - eventually the tail will drop off. Its an old fashioned practise to avoid the tails getting infested with maggots. Not seen so much these days
v4 is a very endearing capture ![]()

Well, apart from v5 you have them hanging on your every word it would seem, Ed
They are certainly paying attention.
Malc
Interesting how the youngsters know to pose for the camera - just like human kids.
Moira
You are a fellow of infinite jest Ade, only one more image of lambs for ewe before it is back to images of flowers and nature
I agree with Ronnie above and think this your best set yet, superb work Ed and as you so rightly say they are not as easy to get as one might think - love them all but particularly the white one with the black patches on his face - well done![]()
A beautiful set of shots how did you get them to pose for Ewe? theey usually run away when I approach with my camera!
Susan
I think I like this set the most, Ed, because the inclusion of the adult with the young makes for a much nicer composition, and gives the family-group feeling to them, which is very pleasing. V5 is just beautiful, and V7 rates high on the cute factor, too.
Lovely, lovely Spring images. If you are expecting me to choose just one from this set, you are baaaaaaaa-king up the wrong tree!
Many thanks to Ann "Pluckyfilly" for her user award on "Downy Ducklings" it is greatly appreciated, Ed
I bet you can go to sleep very easily!
No 2 is my favourite, the perfect group of these little family
Many thanks for all your comments and clicks and to Eric, "Gypsyman" for his user award, it is much appreciated, Ed
